Discontinuous Interior boundary condition in PDE modules

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I would like to apply an interior boundary condition in the general PDE module in order to have a discontinuity in the dependent variables across the internal boundary. Ideally, I would apply an up() and down() constraint on the boundary for the discontinuity. It seems like Comsol defines additional shape functions described as "slit" in other modules, but I don't understand how to add these in the PDE module. Is it possible to do so in PDE modules?

Thank you

Alex
