Inverse Heat Conduction Problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

Has anybody tried modeling inverse heat conduction problem in COMSOL with MATLAB?

I want to model the following: - a material with known surface temperature but unknown thermal properties will be excited by a heat source with known power at a specific time.

How can I do iterative forward solution to identify the most accurate thermal properties of the material by making the difference in the calculated surface temperature and measured surface temperature (experimental) in COMSOL minimal?
