Need advice on creating a mesh around a thin disk

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I want to model the electric fields around a disk embedded in a dielectric. The ratio of the disk diameter to thinkness is (D/T) is ~ 400 and I have been having problems meshing this. I would like to examine even thinner disks if possible. Does anyone have advice on how to modify the geometry to avoid meshing failures? Does rounding the edge of the disk help?
