Simulation of nanoparticle adhesion through laminar flow between parallel plates.

Hello everyone,

We are trying to simulate nanoparticle adhesion to substrate(the bottom wall of the rectangular channel, with cylindrical inlet and outlet on the top wall). We are using Laminar Flow(stationary) and Particle Tracing(time dependent) modules and tried stick and probability conditions, but the particles only adhere at the inlet region.

Does anyone know how to add surface roughness at the bottom wall?
We have to compare Structural Mechanics module to model adhesion or any other module? If so, can we compare this module with Laminar Flow and Particle Tracing?

Best regards,
Michalis G.
