Exothermic reaction (sphere)

Hi I am trying to stimulate a siutation where an exothermic reaction is talking place in a sphere surround by a liquid with a constant velocity. How do I add an exothermic reaction with the following energy release from the sphere: Q=Q[0]exp(-t/tau).

Hi JianGui,

This can be done by adding a Heat Source domain condition to the Heat Transfer physics interface.
An example of this is shown in the exercise: Thermal Decomposition:

In the exercise, the heat source is taken from an exothermic chemical reaction, but you can skip the mass transport and chemical reaction interfaces, and simply add your own, user defined, heat source instead.

Hope it helps

Best regards,
Morten
