Sweep over geometry parameter in Electromagnetics Module (V.4.2)

Hi there!

I am facing a problem with parameter sweeps. I want to calculate the extinction cross section of a particle for a given range of frequencies. Additionally, I want to sweep over a certain range of radii of the particle.
I tried using the Frequency Domain Study plus a Parametric Sweep over the radius, but that did not work properly. (The solver seems to take more steps, but the parameter is not displayed in the "Progress" tab during calculation). Then I discovered the "Auxiliary Sweep" in the "Frequency Domain Study Step" tab. Even though COMSOL says the parameter is swept, the geometry does not change for different values and the results are the same .

I suppose it could somehow be connected to what mesh and geometry the Study uses, but I did not find a way to change this. Could anyone give me a clue?

Best regards!

Christian
