Obtaining results and plots along a new Co-ordinate system

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi guys,.

I am currently working on a microfluidics project that involves a curved microchannel, represented by a geometry of a quadrant of an annulus between 2 cylinders. I also am attaching the image of the channel herewith, for your referenece.

The cartesian co-ordinate system is not favourable for me, and the one required for my analysis, is a mapped system along the geometry of the annulus, i.e., one axis is along the circumference of the annulus and the other 2 are normal to the same, parallel to the edges of the rectangular cross section.

Thanks to your timely help, I could manage to obtain the mapped system in my model. I also can now visualize a few results in the new system, such as the co-ordinate plots and the base vectors of the mapped system. I, however, also need to obtain the components of the flow field and the electric field along the new mapped system.

Kindly help me out on how to obtain the same.

Thanks !!

Akshay
