Object rotation in a microwave oven

I am trying to model the temperature distribution in foods rotating in a microwave oven. My problem can be best described as a stationary food object experiencing a time-variant heat source distribution. Can such movement be done in a straightforward manner or is something more complex called for?

Thank you in advance for any help.
